The council of the revolutionary youth said the formation of the committee to oversee the implementation of the outcomes of the national dialog conference did not occur in accordance with the guarantees of the conference that stipulated that members of the committee should not be ministers, MPs or members of the Shura.
In a press conference at his headquarters in the capital Sanaa on Saturday that was held to announce its stance over the Yemen Friends Conference in London, it praised the outcomes of the London conference and international support to it, but at the same time saw the outcomes should be a push for the transitional government to do something instead of promoting falsity.
The council called on the transitional government to deal with the outcomes of the London conference responsibly and with commitment, welcoming the US administration's formation of a special team tasked with restoring stolen public funds from countries that have ousted their rulers.
Regarding latest developments and the military's moves to fight terror, the council announced its support to the armed forces in their war against terror and eliminating its sources through disarming militias and imposing the rule of law across the country.
It called on parties within the transitional government to expand their partnership and put their differences aside in order work as a team and national partners, stressing the biggest challenge during the transitional period is economic deterioration and that all should take effective measures to fight corruption and guarantee transparency and accountability over all financial and administrative issues in the public institutions.
It addressed the revolution youth, some of whom have been lured into government positions, calling on them to stop acting unless they play a role which lives up to their sacrifices and enhances their national credibility.
The council's foreign relations officer, Fuad Al-Huthayfi said in a statement the transitional government has failed in implementing the transition period's responsibilities and postponed a large part of them to after the national dialog conference, adding the political parties do not want to be monitored amid the government's failure to do its accumulated responsibilities.
From his part, the council's spokesman Maizar Al-Junaid said in a statement over the war on terror that they bless all moves to eradicate all roots of terror and those seeking to harm the reputation of the Yemenis and their economic interests.
Secretary general of the council Abdulghani Al-Mawiri replied to some questions saying the losses in the sector gas have been estimated at $70 billion, adding that the losses in the largest economic sectors including the ports sector are more than double this sum.
