The council of the revolutionary youth condemned a suicide attack at southern gate of the police academy in the capital Sanaa on Wednesday, blaming the political consensus for such attacks.
"What is happening today is a result of agreement to the Gulf initiative," it said, vowing to be loyal to the blood of the martyrs and to continue achieving the goals of the revolution. "Such operations expose complicity with terrorists from inside the authority. They have agreed to shed the blood of the Yemeni people," it said.
"The blood treacherously lost at the Al-Sabeen square and the police academy and the treacherous assassination of Major General Salim Qatan will not go in vain. Perpetrators and their supporters don't want stability in Yemen, and they will be brought to justice sooner or later".
"The road to prevent such bloody operations starts with exposing them. Covering them is an attempt to sink the country in chaos, but we will not allow this to happen," it said, warning of leniency with criminals or hiding investigations.
The council offered condolences to the families of the martyrs from the attack at the academy, promising to go ahead with the goals of the revolution until a stable democratic and civil state is built.
