The revolutionary youth in Hadramout province marked the third anniversary of the 11th February revolution which overthrew the regime of president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
At the event which was organised by the council of the revolutionary youth in coordination with the revolutionary council in Hadramout, leader in the youth revolution Said Al-Khamir congratulated the attendees on the anniversary which coincided with celebrations of Yemenis of the new federal state and the declaration of the Hadramout, Shabwa, Mahrah and Socotra federal region.
"Without God's blessings and sacrifices of the revolutionary youth to oust the tyranny and build a better future, these celebrations would not take place," he said.
The revolution is continuing and will not stop expect until all its goals are met, he said, calling on president to release prisoners of the revolution immediately, hold trials for killers, reconstruct the army, restore stolen public funds and issue a decree declaring the 11th February a national day.
He renewed calls for terminating unfair oil and gas agreements, issue an immediate decision to bank movement of minibus after the ban of movement of motorcycles, and withdraw the weapons of militias that are roaming the country against the law.
Moreover, he called for firing the attorney general and appointing a new and independent attorney.
The deteriorating situation in the province should be blamed on slowness in issuing presidential decrees, he said, holding the president responsible for what might happen.
He condemned what the Hadrami people are facing including arrests, killings and restrictions, especially the people in the areas of Ghail bin Yamin, calling on to drop violence which only serves the enemies of Hadramout.
In his speech to the event, vice president of the council Abdullah Barashid addressed the revolutionaries: "You revolted, promised and kept your promises. The outstanding sign of your faithfulness is the declaration your region of Hadramout that you have been in talks for".
He sent a message to president Hadi saying: "Hadramout is still a fruit of the change of deprivation. Has the time come? Your excellency, don't force us to tell you a day it is too late or shelter to the field and shout like we shouted before".
He urged the peaceful southern struggle saying: "To those who still stick to their peacefulness, please know that peaceful struggle for our rights has no road but success as long as this road is followed".
"We said would revolt to overthrow the head of the regime, and they told us that was impossible. But we revolted. We offered an initiative to preserve the country and they told us he would not sign. But he signed. We said would hold a dialog to hear each other and they told us that would not happen. But that happened. We said would come out from the dialog conference with an agreement and success and told us you would not succeed. And our dialog's document was signed. We said would draw a new Yemen and they told us you don't have an option and there would not be an agreement. But the whole world agreed and witnessed. We said Hadramout is our region and they told us that is a complicated project. But here is Hadramout as the first federal region. What is left of your saying is that this would not be implemented, and we are telling you tomorrow is just a day away," he continued.
Head of the coordination committee of the youth revolution Omar Douman said: "Hadramout has not expressed its complete joy on the anniversary because it is still run fans of the ousted president".
"Our vision that was submitted to the revolution squares was that Hadramout and adjacent provinces should be a region run by its sons. The dream has come true thanks to your struggle and sacrifices".
At the end of the celebration, the preparatory committee of the Hadramout region forum was declared.
Head of the forum Saleh Bamakhsab said the forum will support all efforts aimed at designing the future of Hadramout, urging the youth from all political spectrum to join the forum.
