Young people who participated in the revolution against the regime of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh in southwestern city of Taiz in 2011 vowed on Thursday to continue the struggle against the coup until dreams of Yemenis come true.
They organised on the 6th anniversary of the 11th February revolution which overthrew Saleh's regime which ruled the country for 33 years.
In speeches, they said they will continue the revolution against the coup by the Houthi group and its allies from forces of the former president against the government of president Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi in early 2015.
The war waged by the Houthis and Saleh forces is an attempt to abort the February revolution, the greatest revolution in Yemen's modern history and which was an extension of the 26th revolution against the imamate rule in 1962, they said.
They affirmed: "The blood of the martyrs and the wounded will not go waste".
They also remembered the civilians who were killed and wounded in attacks by Saleh forces at the Freedom Square in the city in 2011.
The celebration came amid a two-year war between the pro-government forces and the Houthi-Saleh forces.
