The Peaceful Revolution Youth Council closely observed the announcement of the establishment of the "National Bloc of Political Parties and Components," which took place in Aden on November 5, 2024.

The bloc's published literature to date outlines ambitious national goals, including the restoration of the republic, the promotion of citizenship, the affirmation of sovereignty, and the urgent need to confront the existential threat posed by the Houthis. In light of these objectives aligned with national, regional, and international references, the council asserts that if the signatories demonstrate genuine commitment and a shared vision for restoring the state and expanding its influence, these goals could represent a significant and positive step forward.
The council regards this bloc as a stone thrown into stagnant waters; however, it is equally concerned about the possibility that the signatories may backtrack on or abandon these stated goals. There is also a fear of repeating the mistakes of past political alliances or allowing external influences that could undermine Yemeni interests and compromise national decision-making. Additionally, the council firmly opposes the legitimization of any armed groups operating outside the authority of the state.
The council's position is consistent with its stated policy of strengthening national sovereignty while minimizing external interference. It wholeheartedly supports any initiatives that align with the aspirations of Yemenis to overcome the coup and restore the state and its institutions. Additionally, the council seeks to empower political parties and groups in shaping Yemen's future while curbing military entities that depend on external backing, which undermines political and national efforts. Ultimately, the council aims to achieve the peace and stability that Yemenis rightfully deserve within a robust, democratic federal system, supported by a national army that safeguards the state and its institutions, protecting the interests of all citizens in accordance with the constitution and the law.
