Marib branch of Peaceful Revolution Youth Council Condemns Massacre by Houthi Militia in Rad'a

The Marib branch of the Peaceful Revolution Youth Council held a meeting today to express condemnation and solidarity following the tragic massacre in Rad'a, Al Bayda Governorate. The detonation of two houses by the Houthi rebel militia resulted in fatalities and injuries among the residents. Simultaneously, the council organized a communal iftar (breaking of fast) in the same governorate, highlighting the significance of unity and support during this difficult period.

Dr. Mohammed Saeed bin Ghurayyib, the head of the Council in Marib, delivered a speech strongly condemning the heinous crime committed by the Houthi terrorist militia against the citizens of Rad'a city in Al Bayda Governorate, characterizing it as a crime against humanity and adding to the long history of atrocities perpetrated by this racially superior group relying on violence, destruction, war, and devastation.
Dr. bin Ghurayyib unequivocally condemned the heinous crime while rejecting the terrorist group and its actions that undermine the social fabric, emphasizing their perpetuation of crime, oppression, famine, ignorance, backwardness, plunder, and tyranny as utterly unacceptable.
Bin Ghurayyib emphasized the importance of heeding the Yemeni people's call for resistance against the terrorist group, reclaiming their sovereignty, and preserving unity. He underscored that only Yemenis themselves hold the power to assert their rights and achieve freedom, emphasizing the necessity of unified efforts until victory.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“Ramadan, the month in which the Quran was revealed as guidance for mankind and clear evidence.” (Quran 2:185)
Dear honorable brothers,
It is a significant moment as we gather on this blessed day, during this sacred month, and in this good land. With firm resolve, we fast for the sake of Allah, steadfast in our dedication to Yemen. We champion the rights of our people and our nation, aspiring to a life of dignity, security, stability, and peace.
We, the members of Peaceful Revolution Youth Council in the courageous Marib Governorate, gather in this field that bears the name of one of the greatest heroic leaders in the history of the Yemeni Republic, the fearless commander and immortal martyr, Abdulrab Al-Shaddadi. He paved the way for our struggle, and guided us on the paths of freedom and redemption, with the unwavering faith and steadfastness of loyal men to God, Yemen, and the national principles, foremost among them the republican system and Yemeni unity.
On this occasion, as we follow in the footsteps of the previous fighters, we affirm the following:
Our Council vehemently condemns the heinous act perpetrated by the terrorist Houthi group against our fellow citizens in the city of Rad'a. They callously detonated homes, indiscriminately targeting men, women, children, and the elderly, showing blatant disregard for the sanctity of Ramadan, as well as the fundamental rights of vulnerable groups. This appalling act demonstrates a complete lack of respect for human values and Yemeni societal morals. We view it as a grave crime against humanity, further contributing to the extensive record of atrocities committed by this racially superior group, which thrives on violence, destruction, warfare, and devastation.
While we reject this heinous crime, we also condemn the terrorist group for its destructive impact on the social fabric, as they perpetuate crime, oppression, famine, ignorance, backwardness, plunder, and domination.
It is imperative for us in the Council to underscore the call of the great Yemeni people to resist this terrorist group, reclaim their state and capital, and safeguard their republic and unity. The Yemeni people alone are vested with their cause, possessing the capacity to assert their rights, dignity, and freedom independently. There is no path to achieving this goal except through resistance, genuine national struggle, unification of voice, arms, purpose, and ultimate goal until victory is achieved.
Finally, as we reflect on these atrocities, we cannot overlook the infamous Friday of Dignity massacre, the thirteenth anniversary of which we observe today. The flames ignited in Change Square continue to burn in the hearts of all Yemenis. May God be our Helper.
May mercy and eternal peace be upon the martyrs;
Wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded;
Victory and glory to Yemen and the free.
