The council of the revolutionary youth in Ibb province on Tuesday condemned an attempted assassination of the secretary general of the Yemeni Socialist Party Yaseen Said Noman by unknown gunmen in downtown the capital Sanaa.

He called on the president and the national reconciliation government to hunt the perpetrators, and to open an immediate investigation into the incident and make the outcomes of the investigation public.

Moreover, it called on the government to shoulder its responsibility of protecting people, put an end to crisis makers and address the fragile security situation.
