The council of the revolutionary youth said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has broken its promises it made to Yemeni people when it launched the Operation Decisive Storm four years ago, including the operation's objective which was to restore the legitimate government and its basic references and to save the Yemeni people.
On the fourth anniversary of the Saudi-led military operation, the council said in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by Almasdaronline website: "This Yemen's turning point is very crucial and painful. The Yemeni ordinary citizen has not seen a sign of decisiveness to restore the state after four years of war, not even a hope which was building during revolution and the national dialog conference. What is happening now is just obliteration of the signs of that hope by both the Houthi putschists and the Saudi-UAE occupiers, at a time when the suffering of the Yemenis continues to deepen every day".
"After four years of war, there is no longer an Arab coalition. Instead, the Saudi-UAE coalition has turned into an occupation force acting like former occupiers, dividing Yemen, and oppressing its people and violating their rights, and directly and indirectly undermining the institutions of the legitimate government".
The statement condemned what it called the suspicious silence of the legitimate government and Yemeni political parties, saying "such silence is considered an affront of the national dignity and a blow to struggle of the national movement that has sacrificed a lot throughout the great history of Yemen".
The statement held the alliance of the dynastic coup responsible for destruction of Yemen's land, people and society, saying this military coup was aimed against politics giving the lurking regional enemies an opportunity to destroy accomplishments of the Yemeni people, aspirations to a better future following the revolutions of the 1940s, the 26th September of 1962 and the 11th February of 2011, and the outcomes of the national dialog conference.
The networking between the imamate Houthi coup and the Saudi-UAE occupation is now clear, especially as the Houthis are practicing a fascist power and brutality that is not different from the brutality of extremist groups such as Daesh. They can't bear their responsibilities or be patriots with such power and practices. Thus the Houthis' claim of facing a foreign aggression is just a fuss, and the Houthi existence is deepening fascism that will be faced by Yemenis with all forms of resistance.
The council called for forming an international court on Yemen tasked with tracking war criminals and violations and crimes committed by internal and external figures, stressing the importance of condemning the continued undermining of the Yemeni state's pillars and support to groups undermining the state in the south and the north by states of the Saudi-UAE coalition and the government letting this coalition to make military and decisions for Yemen.
"Letting the coalition to make military and political decisions for Yemen can't restore the state and never enshrines the principle of national and popular sovereignty," it said, holding the legitimate government and political parties responsible for kidnaping the national decision.
