The council of the revolutionary youth welcomed a UN resolution for sanctions on former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and two Houthi leaders, including travel ban and assets freeze.
In a statement, it called organisations supporting the UN to track all assets and give them back to the Yemeni state, expressing its readiness to stand by the state institutions to restore their respect and to drive the militias out of cities until a new constitution is prepared and presidential and parliamentary elections held.
"We will be an observer of the government's performance during its tenure and will not spare an effort to take a clear stance towards any manipulation, fraud or administrative or financial corruption against aspirations of the people," it said.
