The Peaceful Youth Revolution Council salutes the will of the Yemeni people in rejecting all forms of foreign tutelage and separatist schemes, reaffirms their commitment to national unity and sovereignty, and considers the collapse of the suspicious Emirati project a national victory and a disgraceful end to a blatant intervention that humiliated the Yemeni people and seized their resources.
At this critical juncture, the Council urges political leadership to act with urgency and responsibility by unifying civilian and military institutions, fulfilling constitutional duties, advancing decisively toward liberating all Yemeni territory, restoring state authority, and raising the flag of the Republic of Yemen nationwide together.
The Council affirms that Yemen’s struggle is a comprehensive national liberation battle that cannot be completed without dismantling all armed groups outside state authority, foremost the racist and terrorist Houthi militia, and any forces imposing agendas through violence, regardless of their political affiliation or ideological orientation.
In this context, the Council expresses its hope that the legitimate authority will adopt a clear and principled policy toward all threats to national security, in a manner that restores confidence between the state and a people long subjected to disappointment and neglect. Among the urgent priorities is the immediate formation of independent political, economic, and legal committees to assess past failures, pursue truth and accountability, address grievances, and prevent the repetition of destructive practices. Yemen cannot recover while continuing along the same path that led to its collapse.
The Council affirms that the recent decisions of the President and the Yemeni government to close illegal detention centers, release all persons held outside the law, criminalize unauthorized levies and financial exactions, and enforce accountability without exception represent essential and long-overdue steps toward restoring the rule of law and strengthening the authority of the state.
The Council further stresses the imperative of upholding the foundational principles upon which Yemen’s identity and existence rest: the republican system, the unity of the national territory, equal citizenship, and the supremacy of law—principles for which Yemenis have sacrificed immeasurably in blood, patience, suffering, and endurance.
The recent measures, implemented with clear support from Saudi Arabia within the framework of safeguarding Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and in confronting externally sponsored dominance, constitute an important and necessary shift. They reflect a responsible understanding of the gravity of the dangers threatening Yemen and the broader region.
While hoping that these measures will strengthen political unity and integrate all military and security forces under the Ministry of Defense in preparation for the decisive battle to end the Houthi coup, the Council warns firmly against any action that undermines national unity, institutional cohesion, or political authority.
Finally, the Council also calls on the legitimate authority to rely on national competencies and abandon policies of appeasement and favoritism that have weakened and corrupted state institutions, viewing this as the safest path to overcoming national challenges and preventing the state from remaining captive to militias and chaos.
Mercy to the martyrs,
Healing to the wounded,
Glory to a united Republican Yemen.
